From Hobby to Profession...
The story began in 2009 when I started producing YouTube videos under the TechGeec moniker. My content initially focused on iPhone jailbreaking, hacking, and technology tutorials but soon expanded with the addition of mobile device accessory reviews. TechGeec.com was later launched to distribute technology news and tutorials. In January 2015 I indefinitely suspended by involvement with TechGeec in order to focus on my other business endeavors and completing my college degree. The TechGeec platform now has upwards of 15,000 subscribers and its content has been viewed more than 20,000,000 times.
As I began networking and honing my skills, various international software corporations began to approach me to produce viral marketing videos for their products. This led to me becoming an affiliate marketer and developer with a handful of these companies. My most notable affiliation was with DigiDNA and their flagship software, DiskAid. My efforts to increase their brand visibility and consumer awareness generated approximately $2M incremental annual sales revenue.
I finished my Political Science (International Relations) and Multimedia Communication degrees at the University of California, Santa Barbara in June of 2015 while pursuing several business endeavors. I am now Brilliant Directories' Digital Strategist, focusing on social engagement and brand building, search, display campaigns and optimized landing pages, as well as connection planning and third-party media partnerships.
Recognized in high school as having best exhibited the personal traits of courage, poise, self-confidence, and leadership while performing as a varsity athlete.
